David asks…

Is it possible to get in las vegas casinos with a fake ID and another real casino card?

Is it possible to get in las vegas casinos with a fake ID and another real casino card, cuz i have my fake ID that i used to get in casinos in england, so i have the casinos cards, is it possible to get in the casinos showing both ID and casino card (the casino is: At The Empire London)

Administrator answers:

A casino card is meaningless in Vegas casinos. You need a valid, government-issued photo ID. NOT a fake ID – the guys in Vegas are the best at spotting fakes, and there is a good chance you will be caught. I wouldn’t try it.

Ruth asks…

Where to take my boyfriend to dinner in Las Vegas for his birthday?

My boyfriend’s 24th birthday is this weekend and I have no idea where to take him to dinner! I want somewhere nice, like not chili’s or macaroni grill, I want somewhere more upscale than that. We live in Las Vegas, any suggestions would be amazing!!!!

Administrator answers:

Steak

try the Golden Steer steakhouse (i think it’s the oldest ‘steakhouse’ in Vegas)

many people have ate there including:

from the “Old Las Vegas” days when Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr. Were but a few of their regular customers.

The Golden Steer Steakhouse is a restaurant where locals meet and families celebrate birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, and other special events. The Golden Steer Steakhouse is also known for many famous and infamous customers such as: Tony “The Ant” Spilatro, Natalie Wood, Al Hirt, Nat “King” Cole, Joe DiMaggio, Elvis Presley, and Mario Andretti just to name a few.

Some comments from online –

My husband’s family has been going here for birthdays for years. It is a long-standing family tradition. The food is excellent and prepared right in front of you which the kids love! The atmosphere is great too. It’s not a big place so for us it’s much more comfortable.

Very nice place to take friends visiting. It’s a show just to watch them prepare your meal. They do it right in front of you from the rice to the main course. Not a restaurant to go alone. The meals range from $15.99 to $24.99.

Betty asks…

What should I bring for my vacation in Las Vegas?

I’m 18 going with my boyfriend who is of age to drink in Las Vegas in 3 days. Overall, I have no idea what to bring. I’m guessing I should bring a lot of nice looking, fancy clothes? A couple sun dresses I suppose? What else should I essentially bring?

Administrator answers:

It depends on your travel style, but this is what people generally need.

Active Clothing for the Day: Sneakers, Shorts, Jeans, TShirts, Swimsuits
Nice Casual Cloths for Evenings: Nice Jeans & Tops or Dresses
Nice Outfits for Fancy Restaurants & Shows: Cocktail Dress etc.

Don’t forget the phone charger!

Maria asks…

What things are there to do in Las Vegas for a teen?

I’m 15 and I’m not excited about going to Las Vegas because HELLLOOOO I’m 15 what the heck am I gonna do at night? So does anyone know what a person my age can do there?

Administrator answers:

I went to Las Vegas when I was about 15-16 years old too. I actually enjoyed going there even though I couldn’t gambled. I think they have Disneyland there but I didn’t go there because the Florida ones is much better. They have different theme hotels so I had fun going to each hotels and looking at their themes. In every restaurant they have this lottery thing that goes on every 2 minute so you can play that. I remember one of the hotels had pirate shows at night. I actually had more fun in Las Vegas than going to Washington for my trip.

Nancy asks…

Is Las Vegas fun during the week, or only on weekends?

I have a suite hotel booked for one week in Las Vegas, but unfortunately it is from a Saturday to a Saturday. Therefore, most of my time spent there is during the week. I know Vegas is busy all the time and all year round, but are the clubs and shows as fun during the week?? Thanks so much for helping!

Administrator answers:

There’s definitely nothing wrong with your situation. I actually prefer going during the week and for a week. Some people can’t handle Vegas for an entire week, but I find it gives me a chance to have a good time, while still coming back home feeling refreshed. As for going during the week, it will be less busy, but that also means less line-ups at restaurants and nightclubs. Also, nightclubs offer more promotions during the week, like industry nights and mid-week parties. You should just do a little more research on what’s happening when and where during your dates. Have a great time!

Sharon asks…

Where can I find information on the peak season for retail businessesin Las Vegas Nevada?

Where can I find information on the peak season for retail businesses
in Las Vegas Nevada? I need to have proof of high season during summer
months to issue working visas for foreigner employees. The government
is asking for proof or data that will show highpeak season in sells
or hotel business during the summer in Las Vegas

Administrator answers:

Not sure about “retail sales”, however the Nevada Power Company has a past report listing the six peak months for consumption on Company’s system as months of May, June, July, August, September and October. The Las Vegas Valley energy demands are “needle peaking” in the summer, requiring NPC to either own or toll peaking plants, or to acquire firm transmission capacity.

NEVADA POWER COMPANY
P.O. Box 98910
Las Vegas, NV 89151

Also, there’s the new addition of the Home Furnishings International Association furniture market in July.
