Sandy asks…

What is their cool to do in Las Vegas being 18-20 years old?

Me and my buddies really want to go to las vegas but we are under 21, but over the legal age. So we wanted to know if there is anything exciting and cool there to do, for our age group, seeing that we do not have fake ids

Administrator answers:

You can go see some shows :) And well there are plenty of things 18-20yrs old can do in vegas… Most are just sight-seeings but hey, vegas is still fun for sight-seeing :)

Here’s some of best of the free spectacles:
Las Vegas Sign.
The sign is on the southern end of the strip!

Fall Of Atlantis – Caesars Palace
Every Hour (10am-11pm)

Freemont Street Experience – Freemont St.
Every half hour after dark (ends at midnight)

Every 15minutes! (7pm -12am)

Circus Acts – Circus Circus
Every 20minutes! (11am – 12am)

Other that that..
Venetian – has very nice Italian style-setting. Ride the Gondola, it can be very nice.

Caesars Palace – has the place set as if you were in the Ancient-Rome. It also has a good shopping place! And check out their Atlantis show right by the arcades!

Bellagio – The Garden, very nice picture spot on the inside right by the lobby, they change the theme according seasons! Also they have the biggest chocolate fountains in the world!

Mandala Bay – Aquarium that 12,200 gallons of water with tropical fish and sharks too!

Circus Circus – has a whole floor level for arcade games (The Midway) where you can play for cheap and win prizes! And they also have an indoor-theme park, The Adventure Dome, where they have rides and other arcade games! Check out the free Circus Acts also, right above the casino level!

Luxor – has a very nice egyptian theme, and you can take a picture with the Sphinx and the pyramid in the background. (right outside the hotel)

Paris – go up the Eiffel Tower, it’s not too high but you can still get a great view of the city.

Strathosphere – go up to the Strathosphere tower and it has a really nice beautiful view from up top. Plus, there are some roller-coaster rides up there too, but if you’re afraid of heights, I wouldn’t recommend it.

The Mirage – has a very beautiful Tropical Forest, and Coral Reef Aquarium and their infamous White Tigers!

Flamingo Hotel – very nice wildlifes from around the world, they have the garden filled with exotic birds, ucks, penguins, swans, turtles, koi and of course the Chilean flamingos.

MGM – lion habitat!

New York New York – they have a memorial spot for the September 11 remberance right infront of the Statue of the Liberty. Also they have a roller coaster that cost $12 per ride!

Also on the strip, right across NewYork NewYork, there’s a big M&M’s store. If you’re a big M&M’s lover, it’s the best store for you. Next to it, there’s a big Coca-Cola store, and Gameworks somewhere near too!

Okay, I hope that helps! :) Have a fun trip!

Paul asks…

What to do in Las Vegas Besides Gambling?

I am 16 years old. I am going to Las Vegas over the summer. Can someone suggest some thing to do for me.

Administrator answers:

Besides Gambling here are things I love to do in Vegas:
- Walk the strip, take lots of pictures of the casinos..and pretty people ;)
- Check out the free shows on the strip like Sirens of TI (it’s okay), Bellagio fountain show, Mirage volcano show.
- Watch a production show..my personal favorites are the Cirque Du Solei ones like O, Ka, and Mystere.
- Go shopping, plenty of shopping..Forum shops at Caesars Palace, and Fashion Show Mall are my favorites.
- Check out ticketmaster.com and see if there are any shows going on or concerts special for the time you’ll be there.

Have Fun

Michael asks…

Cheapest way to celebrate my 21st birthday in Las Vegas?

Going to Las Vegas for my 21st birthday on July 5th and would like to know how I can party on a budget – any recommendations for promoters?
Since I’m not showing up with a group of 10 girls (it will be only my boyfriend and I), it’s gonna be a little harder to get in clubs for free but maybe you could give me some ideas?

Administrator answers:

Google Vegas coupons- you can find deals for drinks, shows, clubs, food, ect. Sign up for the player’s card at any hotel you want to visit (can usually do this online before you go) to see what deals/discounts they offer. There are also coupons books you can buy, like the American Casino Guide. Also do a Google search for happy hour specials or drink specials. Drinks in the clubs will be the most expensive, followed by trendy or expensive hotels. Cheapest drinks will be downtown. Last time we were there over St. Paddy’s two years ago my husband paid $10-14 for a Jack and Coke at various casinos and outside bars along the strip, and $4-8 at a couple of places we stopped at downtown for the same thing, same size. You will find some bargain drink and food prices downtown (and cheaper hotels too).
