Daniel asks…

to pay full price to reserve tickets for shows in LAS VEGAS?WHAT IS A NICE SHOW FOR A HUSBAND AND WIFE?NICE RATES AND WHAT RESORT?

Administrator answers:

Buying tickets on the street is taking a big chance that you might be buy fake tickets. Buying at the hotel box office on the other hand is the most expensive way to buy a show ticket in Vegas. Besides you will be taking a chance that the show might be sold out.

The best way to get discount tickets for Vegas shows is online. Buy your ticket online and select WILL CALL, that way you pick it up at the box office. Here are some good discounted shows.

Some great show you will enjoy:

2) Love
3) Blue Man Group

Donald asks…

What are some cheap things to do on the Las Vegas strip?

I’m leaving for Vegas but want to experience everything I can on the strip. I’ll be staying at the Paris Las Vegas. Anybody have any pointers on what would be good to do while on the strip?

Administrator answers:

Check out the shark reef at mandalay, shop at the forum in ceasars, go to the outlet off of charleston dr. (going downtown 10-15min), visit the lion habitat, ride the roller coasters on stratosphere and nyny, go bowling at the orleans, lounge at the pool, ellis island (in back of strip next to a motel 8 or something like that) has cheap fantastic meals- you can get a rack of ribs and some for about $4.99 almost enough to feed at least 3 people, go to the top of the eiffel tower at night and watch the fountain show…..just to name a few

Betty asks…

I’m looking to do a summer of work experience in production for a Las Vegas Stage show?

I’m interested in Cabaret, Burlesque, Circus and Aerial performances.

Can anyone recommend to me any Las Vegas based venues, performers or companies that may be relevant for what I’m looking for? I’m based in London in the UK and have no prior knowledge of the theatre scene in Vegas, so would appreciate any insight from you lovely locals.

Thanks!
Just to clarify, I do have past experience as a performer, but I’m looking to work on the production side of things. Stage management, sound, lighting, marketing etc.

Administrator answers:

Good luck!

Its very hard to find work like that. You have to have past experience as an actor or dancer.
