Your Questions About Las Vegas Tv Show
Is there any opportunities for acting in Las Vegas?
I’m moving to Las Vegas soon, and I wanna be an actor. Is there any reputable acting coaches/talent agencies in Vegas? If so, please list them. Thanks in advance!
Since you have probably seen MANY movies “about” Las Vegas…and “involving” Las Vegas…yes, there are a few ‘reputable’ agencies. They can definitely help you re: work as an extra or ? Actually getting acting gigs…will be up to you and your talents/skills.
There are a number of casting companies in the Las Vegas area available through the Nevada Film Organization (an actual governmental agency?) and the following link to their site should help you get in touch with them…who in turn… Should be able to steer you towards some acting coaches in the area…but the Screen Actors Guild should be able to help you out too.
My friends regularly get work from:

Are there any bars/pubs in Las Vegas that will show Champions League?
I am going on holiday to Las Vegas and want to try and see Rangers’ Champions League match against Stuttgart. Are there any pubs that would show “soccer” and this game in particular?
There is a tavern or pub on Trop that caters to people from the UK

How closely is a person watched in casinos?
It would be great to hear from any casino employees in this one. I’ve seen alot of casino scenes in movies/TV shows where players are scrutinised on every thing that do, but is it really like that in a casino?
There is a camera to cover every single inch of the casino floor. However not all cameras are on every second of the day and those that are are not being monitored every second of the day.
I worked at the local card clubs in Los Angeles and spent many hours in the surveillance room. We had close to 20 monitors going at any given time. But 99% of irregularities are initially spotted by employees or other players. Once something is brought to our attention, surveilance is then brought to focus on an individual or group of individuals. And those cameras have an amazing resolution. I can zoom in on your hands and literally count the number of hangnails on each finger.
Every casino does employ a staff of professional “spotters’ that know what to look for and their entire job is to observe players AND employees.
As for the super hi-tech facilities like they have in the show “Las Vegas”, that does not exist. The room that houses the monitors is always fairly small and cramped. In larger casinos they do have walkways above the casino ceiling where an observer can look down on the action. Its a catwalk with skinny handrails and rarely a place to sit.
In SYTYCD is there a limit to the number of dancers who go to Vegas?
This year 122 dancers were sent to Las Vegas. I was wondering whether they have a limited amount of boarding passes and if so, how do they prevent going over the limit.
I don’t think they have a limit. I’d assume being a big FOX tv show they could have all the seats they want to. To me it doesn’t look like they’re cutting more people than necessary or accepting more than nec. To fill a certain number.
How much would The 2013 concert tickets be for One Direction?
For Las Vegas next year. Floor tickets? Backstage passes? I really want to go!
On the subject of backstage passes.
One thing backstage passes are not sold at the box office or thru an online
place like ticket master. You either have to be working with the band or the
concert or know someone personally that is connected to it…
There are FOUR WAYS to get a backstage pass. From somebody that posted this information here on Yahoo Answers in the past. That is really knowledgeable
on this subject & some editing of my NYC experience on this.
You must KNOW someone connected with the band or tour, more like a relative that works for the band/concert/promoters. Or, if you are lucky have a friend or a neighbor that has a relative that works for the band or the promoters directly. Or somebody you personally knows that
works for the band or promoters directly that has these connections.
Be a news reporter. You would have to be one connected to your local newspaper or local TV/radio news team. Also, people that are internet news bloggers very rarely get these unless they are very well know in the news industry. I have seen a few teens that get a website
and claim they are a news blogger (that just don’t cut it).
Also, the news people can’t just show up with their news crew and be let in backstage. They have to arrange this in advance. Especially these days.
A local radio station will sometime have a backstage pass or two of the concert and offer it as a promotional prize.
Either you have to be the 7th or 10th or 12th caller.
Or hope that the entry form you filled out gets picked out by the radio DJ or whoever they have in a random drawing.
Sometimes a person will have one and will sell it on EBAY online auction or Craigslist and EXPECT to pay REALLY BIG DOLLARS (like hundreds or thousands) for one.
You have to be careful when buying these from these websites. Some people I have seen that show up at a concert and pay $300.00 and more on one only to learn the backstage pass they bought is nothing but a laminated fake that security can easily spot.
Some of these backstage passes have bar codes or security strips on them, depending on the agents and promoters.
On some concerts the promoters will give a backstage pass to a person. Sometime these backstage passes are not transferable. If the person is not the name on the ID code on this backstage pass they could be in some trouble.
Those are the ONLY WAY you will get a backstage pass legally.
Thank the Lord for the copy & past option on IExplorer so I don’t have to type the above information again when people ask this question.
